4 Ways Small Businesses Can Better Support Working ParentsAug 18, 2022
Balancing work and child care is a challenge countless employees face every day. Large organizations are taking action to combat burnout in working parents, some even building their own daycares. As a small business, offering onsite child care can be too expensive, but fortunately, there are alternative ways to support working parents without breaking the bank.
For instance, child care stipends are one of the moderately expensive options. These can be direct payments that come to the employees based on any amount the company chooses or the company subsidizing some of the child care with a specific child care center.
This option might not be suitable for every small business, but if you have some very high-performing employees or teams within your organization, offering child care stipends is definitely money well spent. Think of it as a strategic investment in securing and attracting great talent!
